We did a big sweep of the west coast , starting out in Santa Barbara, driving up through Big Sur, and ultimately finishing up in Carmel.
In Santa Barbara we stayed at the West Beach Inn and got a sea-side room. Got a chance to visit the mission..
…and visit the famous courthouse
….and of course a sunset cruise
At Big Sur we stayed at the Big Sur Lodge. The fun of this location is that it was in the middle a redwood forest
Not to mention Big Sur isn’t shabby
Finally we finished at Carmel and I have to tell you I wish I hadn’t left. Beautiful town and beautiful sunsets.
Also swung by Monterey for some aquarium action
Also got to stop by Lobos park for some vistas
