Flashback to Saxotech
Came across these old photos from my days at Saxotech. That’s me with my brother-in-law on the Starship II cruising around Tampa Bay. We had a fun but short time with Saxotech; shortly after they had acquired DSI (which both of us worked at), a venture capital firm bought out Saxotech and its competitor. Alas, it was liquidation time after that for the top heavy sales dept. Saxotech was fun and I actually learned a lot in my short time with them. Unfortunately, it also represented the end of my very long career at DSI. The HQ may have changed …
My Darling Wife Joins the OId Person Club
We had a great night out at Sakura and pigged out on steak. The entertainment from the Chef was top notch. The chef had 5 chances to toss shrimp into Pam’s mouth. Each time Pam would catch the shrimp in mid aid with her hands and eat it. Fun times!
New Horizons in 2023
Looking forward to a fresh 2023 and I have lots of goals! Working with sitesinoneday.com to develop lots of new websites which may also have some ADDIE projects. Also have some personal goals of cutting back o my weight and working on myself ( more meditation, staying on task etc.)
Happy Halloween
This was my best attempt at doing the Grinch. Doing makeup yourself is kind of fun but it got a little frustrating as I tried using pencil makeup kits which are more akin to crayons. What I really needed was a bush kit. Lesson learned.

Memories of the Seminole Club
Just came across an old FSTimes newsletter from back in 2009. I really miss those days. We we killing it in the ACC and I looked forward to our biannual game at U of Maryland. Prior to being president, we would meet down at the Stained Glass Pub in Only, which was so far from Baltimore that we would have sparse turnouts. After various location moves, we started doing game watching parties in downtown Baltimore. It was a blast, that fun seems like a distant memory now.
Lake Fun at Lake Linganore
We had some fun on lake Linganore, breaking in Heather and Perry’s new boat. Speaking of breaking, its kind of shocking I didn’t break anything. I did a cliff dive into the lake and also took a stab and one of those ropes-from-a-tree. Lots of fun for a old guy! Heather turned 50 so happy B day to her – I’m no longer sole AARP member.

Deep Creek Adventure
We had an excellent July 4th week-long adventure at Deep Creek. We did some ATVing at Western Trails, watched the fireworks at Wisp, got to do some white water rafting at ASCI and kayaked across Deep Creek lake. The best part of the trip might have been soaking in the hot tub after the day was over. Our cabin rocked! This was also the first vacation where we got to bring our dog Patty along!
