Pam and I at Halloween Party
It took some time for it to come together but I got my Bender costume assembled. The body and head were made from Sakrete tubes. Most of the effort was on the head. The dome was a foam half sphere that I picked up at Michaels. Benders antenna is a plastic landscape nail topped with a ping pong ball. His eyes are foam balls. The pupils are construction tape. I cut holes in the foam balls and ping pong ball and inserted LED balloon lights. The visor was a cardboard box that I cut to shape and hot-glued in place. …
Static on the iPhone 2020 Video
I was having a problem with my iPhone 2020 recording static on the first few seconds of recorded video. Right after I made this video, my daughter breaks her iPhone so she inherited mine. I tried getting another 2020 from eBay. After two unsuccessful purchases ( both had problems I couldn’t resolve) , I broke down and got the iPhone 14 Pro. Its a great phone but wow is it heavy! I feel like I could use it as a weapon if I had to. Such a huge difference from the light weight 2020. And I have to say, that …
13 Years Ago …
I was watching the FSU Miami game in Tallahassee and milking that position of Baltimore Club President for all it was worth. A Warchant photographer captured my tailgate experience with the lovely FSU Cowgirls. Fear not, Pam was actually at the game with me. Meghan was there too, she was in utero and very close to being born. We had tickets on the 50 yard line and I got a chance to show Pam what a game in Tallahassee was like.

Disney World VS Universal Studios
I’ve talked so much about this that I feel its time to get it down in some sort of official capacity. Our summer vacation is officially over and I had a wonderful time with my family at the two big resorts in the Orlando Area, Disney World and Universal Studios. We had five days in Disney World, two at the Magic Kingdom, one at EPCOT, one at Hollywood and one at Animal Kingdom. We had three days at Universal divided into Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Universal’s Volcano Bay. DISNEY WORLD REVIEW In a perfect world, I …
Shades of Green at Disney
Our Disney experience has been pretty memorable thus far. I’ve had a chance to experience new and amazing rides and park sections (Tron, Guardians of the Galaxy and Pandora). But perhaps the most amazing thing has been our resort, Shades of Green. Not only is this resort located with of the magic kingdom, it’s both beautiful and cheap! The Magnolia restaurant provided one of our best meals of our entire trip. Their are two pools and the largest had a killer water slide – with an amazing sports bar in walking distance. I highly recommend this place to anyone who …
Emotional Outrage Machine ™
I occasionally do a little writing on my Freethinking Page. I have always tried to remain objective on a great many subjects. Trying to cut through the muck becomes both an intellectual endeavor and a way of deconstructing my own perceptions. In a world where everyone is being sold ideas, I choose to be a picky consumer. My latest piece is on the Emotional Outrage Machine ™
Flashback to Seminole Club days
Back in the days when I was president of the Seminole Club of Baltimore, the Baltimore Sun had interviewed me regarding Bobby Bowden. I think everyone had a sense back then that things were coming to an end. It was an emotional time for fans and alumni. http://archive.today/apmhI
